Eligibility and dues
Membership is limited, and members must be 18 years or older and own a Malagasy Coton de Tulear. We are a social club, managed by a board of directors.

- MCPC Breeder membership: These are breeders that have agreed to the MCPC mission and Code of Ethics. There is a one-time membership processing fee of $100, and a $25 fee for registering and producing an official certificate of registration for every born and bred Malagasy Coton de Tulear from a MCPC breeder.

- The MCPC is a club of like-minded breeders and owners of the Malagasy Coton de Tulear that want to work together in conservation efforts to preserve our breed by using new advances in technology as they develop. Providing educational opportunities for our members to gather and share knowledge of canine health, behavioral science, genetics and breeding; and applying this knowledge to our preservation efforts.
- The MCPC will provide opportunities for our members to gather and commingle for social, educational or other similar purposes.
- The MCPC is supported by membership dues and registration fees from our breeders to help the MCPC further our efforts of preserving the rare breed Malagasy Coton de Tulear through continued education and sharing of information.
- At no time will any net earnings inure to the benefit of any person on the board, or any individual member. All earnings will be spent to further our member’s interest in breeding for the future health and welfare of the Malagasy Coton de Tulear.
