Following is the MCPC Health Testing requirements, done at one year of age, to determine whether a Coton de Tulear can be health passed and included in the MCPC Breeding Program. The Physical Exam is done by a licensed veterinarian. If any abnormalities are noted, a follow up with a specialist is required, for further evaluation and/or radiography. Breeders may choose to pay extra to file their results with OFA, but are not required to. All results are filed with the MCPC and included in our database. Any potential buyer can request the results from our MCPC breeders.
